Our flexible aluminum composite films are specially developed for filling single-component silicone sealants, polyurethane adhesives, and MS modified silane sealants. Compared with traditional HDPE plastic tubes and all-aluminum hoses, our packaging films offer lower procurement costs, smoother running on filling machines, and reliable chemical resistance. We supply two main series: the economical 3-layer film and the high-barrier 4-layer film. Manufacturers can select suitable specifications according to adhesive activity, volatile content, and required shelf life of finished products. All films pass the water vapor barrier test complying with ASTM F1249-06 standard, with stable heat sealing and peeling performance. They can effectively lock volatile components inside the sealant and greatly extend shelf life.
The GZ-41 4-layer film is the core packaging material for mid-to-high-end automatic sealant production lines. Its composite structure is:
COBOPP22-25 / AL7-9 / PET12 / COBOPP17-25
A PET reinforcing layer is inserted between aluminum foil barrier layers to significantly enhance penetration resistance and tensile strength. Under the standard test environment of 50°C and 100% relative humidity, its water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) is below 0.05g/(㎡·d), reaching ultra-high barrier grade.
This film is compatible with high-activity window silicone sealant, polyurethane glue, and low-VOC MS sealant, with a finished shelf life of 9 to 12 months. The film's peeling strength is ≥2.3N/15mm, heat-sealing strength ≥3.0N/15mm, and inner film friction coefficient against stainless steel ≤2.4. It avoids edge leakage and delamination during high-speed continuous production.
Notice: If your sealant formula contains swelling or cracking additives such as white mineral oil, you must carry out a film-glue compatibility test in advance to prevent premature curing and packaging delamination during storage.
The 3-layer film adopts a simplified structure: outer printing film + aluminum foil barrier layer + inner heat-sealing film, without PET reinforcement. Its WVTR is less than 0.5g/(㎡·d), classified as micro-permeable material, suitable for conventional sealants with medium-low activity and moderate volatile content.
Positioning: Cost-effective entry model
Application: Only applicable to low-activity neutral silicone sealant
Characteristics: Leaves less residual glue during extrusion, shelf life 9 months
Limitation: Cannot be used for high-activity formulas or adhesives with cracking additives
Positioning: Upgraded 3-layer version
Characteristics: Optimized vapor barrier performance, matching ordinary weather-resistant silicone sealant
Shelf Life: 9-12 months
Compatibility: Stable operation with semi-automatic filling machines
The 3-layer film greatly reduces packaging material cost, making it ideal for small and medium-sized sealant factories with short product circulation cycles and limited budgets.

Our aluminum composite films are designed to work seamlessly with two main equipment categories on our website, giving you a complete sealant production line right out of the box:
Under this category, the Vacuum Planetary Mixer serves as the essential pre-processing workhorse for glue mixing and vacuum defoaming. It delivers a smooth, uniform paste that is perfectly prepared for the filling stage.
This covers both Silicone Sealant Filling Machines and general Glue Filling Machines. We have fully tested and calibrated all heat-seal parameters—for both 3-layer and 4-layer films—on these very units. This means you can walk into stable mass production right away, without wasting time fiddling with temperature or pressure settings.
The full workflow is straightforward:
Mix your sealant with the Vacuum Planetary Mixer → Feed precisely with a filling machine → Seal tubes with our aluminum composite film
Every roll we ship is held to tight standards on dimensional tolerance, print accuracy, and winding flatness, so they work perfectly with every mixing and filling machine listed on our site. No surprises, just smooth production.
